Abstract
The metonymy is classified under (within) the illustrative
arts in Arabic rhetoric, which is characterized by accuracy
(exactness) and secrecy (hiddenness), while the scientists of
rhetoric had taken more are care to bring out it and determine its
terms. Whereas the subject selection that is emerging from the
metonymy benefit gives more meanings which explain all secrets
of the intended matters (things) when all absolute real meaning
lacks to attach and elevate it.
The introduction takes up the case of explaining the
scientist's statements who dealt with the style and explaining of
the metonymy philologically and technically.
There are many sorts of metonymy in different matters
thus this chapter has more fortunate from the "Traditions/ Hadith"
in quantity because many Traditions, when the into many groups,
making each group separately and giving it a distinct title including
that groups as "ignorance metonymies", "mercy metonymies" and
so on.This article deals with the sorts of metonymy in The
Prophetic Sayings about the women and their relevant matters.
