Explanation of Some Terms
Abstract
The writer has expressed the difference of opinion on
MYSTICISM and ‘tasavvuf’. According to him they are two different terms.
Similarly literary persons have termed Pantheism, meaning omnipresence, the quality of God. A Maulana, Alhaj Captain
Wahid Bux Siyal wrote in his book “Wahdat-al-Wijud, Wahadatul-Shahud”, on page No. 215, that it is all against the Islamic philosophy. Different European authors have described ‘Mysticism’
in their own way but it is all different from Islamic philosophy.
Spain got under the influence of Islam. Thus Islamic philosophy enlightened Europe but it was only limited to Spain and
other parts of Europe were fallen in the abyss of ignorance.
The Renaissance period in Europe was limited to materialism but devoid of spiritualism. It would have been brimmed, if
they had thought and connected it with Islamic philosophy.
About the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) it is said that
Shah Latif had deep love for the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.).
This could be seen from the verses of Shah Latif that how he had
great love for the Prophet.(P.B.U.H.)
