Abstract
In the colonial era, patriotic sentiments were evident in the poetry of Iqbal. Thus, in the colonial era, Iqbal's poetry played a key role in promoting patriotic sentiments and feelings. He created most of the political poems in the colonial context and also fully supported communism. In the context of the colonial era, Iqbal made the rise and fall of the nation the subject and adopted the method of teaching and preaching. Iqbal kept on complaining about the plight of Muslims throughout his life. Iqbal's personality was individually influenced by political slavery. He represented the nation which was bound in chains of slavery. On the colonial and political circumstances of subcontinent, Iqbal gave a strict response and made the visions of integral Muslim world his mission.
