Abstract
Muqadamat e Bagh o Bahar” is a supplying scholarly achievement by Dr. Aslam Aziz Durrani. In the beginning of this book, scholarly essay titled as “Pesh Muqadamat” has been presented which includes the artistic aspects etymology, language and analytical comparison of these Muqadamat. Dr Aslam has very artistically put together the analytical views of nine Muqadama Nigars including Mir Aman Dehlvi, John Gilchrist, Molvi Abdul Haq, Mumtaz Hussain, Waqar Azeem, Abul Khair Kashfi, Dr. Mumtaz Manglori, Dr. Saleem Akhtar and Rasheed Hassan Khan. He has done literary postmortem of these Muqadamat so skilfully that the real face of “Bagh o Bahar” is unveiled. The last Muqadama of the said book has been composed by himself which is a vital proof of his love for Muqadma nigari and his grip on the subject.
