Abstract
In this article, after a brief discussion on unique structure of Urdu language, its role in the formation of Pakistan with the reference of its historical background has been understood. Along with that, a comprehensive comment has also been made on the linguistic, historical, social and literary links of Urdu with all important and representative languages of all the provinces of Pakistan e.g. Pashto, Balochi, Brahvi, Panjabi, and Sindhi. In this regard, all linguistic theories which were based on the relationship of Urdu and all these Pakistani regional languages have been studied with a new and fresh prospect. The mutual effects of Urdu literature and literature of these regional languages on each other have also been reviewed. Thus, after compilation of all concrete information results have been extracted.
