Abstract
Two neighbor countries Iran and Pakistan have cultural and historical relations From the ancient ages. In the pages of history of Indo-Pak this fact is cleared to all researchers and historians that Islam flourished in Sub-Continent through Persian language. Persian rulers ruled over Sub –Continent and they promoted Persian language in this land and along with these rulers many saints and muslim scholars came in indo-pak and preached here. Their language was Persian and their teachings were for the man kind and humanity. More over all the soldiers of these rulers were from different races like Turkey , Mangols, Afghanistan, Iran and Central Asia and they spoke different languages which caused to create an other language “Urdu”. With the passage of time this army language “Urdu” became a new and common language of the sub-continent .Actually the 60 to 70 % of words ,Idioms ,pharses and terms of Persian are used in urdu language and both languages are very sweet and simple and easy to learn too. Today also we use many words and terms of Persian in our daily life same is the case with Persian many of the urdu idioms and sayings are used in Persian with a slight difference .Iran Government always tries to promote Persian language in Pakistan .Almost in all the prominent cities of Pakistan cultural centers of Iran are established by the government of Iran and “Utaaq e Iran Shanasi “ are introduced and built for the promotion of Persian language. Simutaniousley Urdu language is being taught in Iran for the better relations of the two neighbor countries.
