Abstract
Poetry has its own language and is closely related to myth. History shows that this connection has been growing at different times, but never discontinued. In this era, due to the changes in the country and a close look at the religious and national dimensions, myths have not only been diminished, but have also emerged. In the poetry of Azizi, as one of the poets after the revolution, myths, based on different categories, have been examined by the opinion of Lawrence Coop, in order to determine the position of myths and their categorization in the poet's poetry. Azizi appears to be closely related to myths and uses them in different ways.
