The Innovation of Simile in the Poetry of Ibn Al. Mu’etaz

Since the analogy is an inborn characteristic in human
being, and a great means of responsive to the needs that cannot
be undertaken by language or by its direct expression. The simile
was and still considered as extensive measure to the weight of
speech, that’s why we see that the Arab heritage is full of this
simile and in its uses. Hundreds of Arab poets who have acted in
it in different ways and methods of checks where much of the
magnificence and admiration.
Ibn Al Mu’etaz was among of these poets who excelled in
Simile, and it seems very clear in his literary work. In this
research work the basic emphasize is upon the innovation in
simile by Ibn Al Mu’etaz. After a brief introduction of him in
preface there are two sub chapters, i.e. opinions of critics in
simile and different pictures of simile
