Najeeb Alkeelani is described as dean or father of Arabic
Islamic literature. He defines the Islamic literature as a
responsibility, which flows in the blood from the heart and
convictions of a Muslim believer. It is clear that the study of such
personality’s life and literature is an obligation to researchers and
it is a service to the nation and tribute to such a great literary
person. This study highlights the major contributions and reveals
literary effects of Doctor Najeeb Alkeelani who is considered as
father of Arabic Islamic literature in the contemporary Arabic
literature. The first section of this study discusses his life whereas
the second section deals with his major contributions in the
contemporary Arabic literature.
