This article is a research work about (Al.Shekh Jan
Muhammad) who was a great and an eminent scholar of Muslim
world in twentieth century. He was one of the very literary persons
and Fiq-e-Islami was his most favorite subject especially Fiq-eHanfi was his specialization. Al-Sheikh Jan Muhammad was born
in the city of Bhawal Nagar in Punjab Pakistan in 1314 Hijri and
passed away in 1400 Hijri. SHEIKH JAN MUHAMMAD ranks as
one of the greatest jurists of his time. He attained a very high
status in various fields of Islamic science. During his life time he
was acknowledged as a great Mufti and scholar. The honorific title
AL ADEEB AL HINDI was granted to him and he was also
recognized as a man of high morals.
