Naval Kishore Press, established in 1856, was the most important publishing house .It published thousends of books on a variety of themes ranging from medicine and literature to religion and philosophy in Urdu.The researcher spent nine months in the SAI, Heidelberg University, Germany as a Post Doc. Fellow.Along with his research on Hasn-Hasso, he has been able to broaden his area of research to include uncatalogued books , packed in 4 boxes , were lying the library of SAI..In this paper the researcher produced index along with the introduction which will give an overview of the individual books of the Urdu poetry.this paper will hopfully act as a toll for the scholars of Urdu and print culture in South Asia.
