Ibn ul Arabi, Jalal ud Deen Rumi and Muhammad Iqbal have taken their thought models from Quran, the great holy book for humanity at large. They belong to that distinguished civilization which has helped human beings creating pious societies for their living. This civilization is known for its anti-idols approach. Above mentioned thinkers were practicing Muslims and of course staunch followers of the messenger of God Muhammad (PBUH). For them God is the fountain of all the creations alone. Iqbal wrote in one of his Persian long poems: Rumi, the spiritual guide, with an enlightened heart, is the leader of the caravan of love and spiritual ecstasy. These three thinkers believe in unity of God in Islamic sense of the concept. Their approaches have nothing to do with Western pantheism or the concept of HALOOL in Vedanta culture.
