Sartar,s philosophy of existantialism had a far reaching effect on the literature of 20 century. But this notion is very thought provoking that many elements of his philosophy already existed in the philosophy of Ghalib. In this article it has been tried to prove that Sartar,s philosophy is not new to the readers of East, because it is present in Ghalib,s philosophy in a scattered form.
