In this article, the writer has presented a critical analysis of a romantic novel “Rehji Wiyal Manzar (The scene that remained) written by a wellknown and popular creative writer, Tariq Alam Abro. The author’s status was elevated among the contemporary novelists, when he got quite a few awards for this endeavor. In this opinion of critics, the technique was unique, the diction was beautiful with a lot of similes and metaphors, making it impressive. The realistic approach in into expression had left strong impact on quite a few romantic novels, written after this novel was published. The plot is complex, revolving around the romance and betrayals among the main characters who happen to be university students. The sequence of events is not disturbed due to any repetition. The imagery is based on social as well as material lives and styles of the characters. Concluding the critique, the writer has called this novel as realistic and a good addition to the Sindhi Literary treasure
