Subcontinent's prolific and versatile writer Devendar Issar was born in Attock city, Pakistan. In his life time, he had to relocate himself from one place to another. After the partition, he migrated to India. Soon after migration, he faced inexplicable grief of his mother's demise. These catastrohic events affected him psychologically. The effects of all these catastrophic events have been depicted in his fiction. Aloofness and nostalgia occupy a prominent place in his work. The formation of the novel' ''Khushbu Ban Ke Lautenge'' consists of different extracts and paragraphs that have been selected from his short stories and essays. This article explores the nostalgic feelings of the writer.
