The pursuit of education is the basic right of every man and woman equaly. Islam gave this examplary right to its believersfrom inception till completion. Because Islam eliminated the darkness of ignorance and spreaded the rays of education everywhereas secred duty. The Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم fulfilled this duty with the utmost diligence and responsibility by the command of Allah Almighty. He introduced a system of education, which benefited every person and guided every one to true path. This article sheds the light on the foundations of prophetic educational system in early Makkan-era.This system gives very clear instructions to guide the whole human beings by different ways. The Holy Prophetصلى الله عليه وسلم focused on spreading the education where it was possible. He went to tribes inside and outside of Makkah for their education. For this secred purpose, He صلى الله عليه وسلمalso approached those people who had come to annual main markets in Makkah during Haj season. Thus we see that the early Prophetic educational system contains salient features like spreading education everywhere, education for all human beings, men, women, believers and non believers.Today, the Muslim Ummah can overcome the contemporary educational challenges by adopting early prophetic educational principles and may restore the past status of educational institutions and make prominent progress in the world
