In this article, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan’s reforms and visionary ideals are discussed in detail. He had full comprehension of Muslim rise and fall in India. The fall after 1857 was such that, had Sir Syed not taken a timely action the Muslims of India would have doomed to perpetual slavery for another century. Sir Syed forewarned Muslims not to fall in the trap of Congress. He forbade them from taking part in politics. He emphasized upon them to acquire modern education, learn science subjects, to understand technology and opt for English language. The people of Pakistan need personalities like Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, who could harness the youth to modern vistas of knowledge and save the nation from complete destruction. His life is a beacon of light for us, to devote our lives and energies for higher ideals. Pakistani's must heed to his message, so they may fulfil their desire to attain respectable existence among the nations of the world.
