Solution culture experiment was conducted to screen out the wheat genotypes against NaCI salinity. 20 wheat genotypes were grown in three treatments viz. control (non-saline), 100 and 200 mol m 3 NaCI arranged to completely randomized design with three repeats. Plants were harvested 24 days after imposition of NaCi salinity stress. AU genotypes responded differentially at all salinity levels. Increased NaCI concentration reduced the vegetative growth. PGR1-15 and PGR1-5 proved to be the most tolerant to NaCI stress while PGRI-3 proved to be the most sensitive one.
