An experiment was conducted to find out the effect of lodging at various harvesting dates on cane yield and its quality. The crop was planted in September and February with RCBD in split plot combinations at Sugarcane Research institute, Faisalabad in 1998. The treatments consisted of eight harvesting dates starting from mid October to mid May at one month interval. The crop planted in September produced 22 percent more yield than February planting. The maximum cane yield was recorded in mid November to mid December from lodged as well as non lodged cane. The highest pol% and C.C.S. % was recorded in mid January from non lodged cane and in Mid February from lodged cane.
