Modified Bray equations were used for calibrating soil test values of ammonium acetate attractable potassium with the yield of apple fruit. Percent relative yields, after potassium fertilizer application, indicated that die soils were deficient in potassium. Based on the equations, levels of soil potassium were established which may produce very low, low, and medium yields as compared to the potential yield when all other input factors may be operating at optium levels. High yields, with respect of potassium, may be obtained when this element is not less than 150 mg Kg
