Abdullah Javed, settled in Canada, is a well known Urdu writer.
He has various aspects in his creative works, like poetry, fiction
and criticism. He has also written so many short stories. As he
basically belongs to sub-continent while he spent major part of
his life in Canada. He is a keen observer of both the eastern and
western societies. The glimpses of such observations may be
found in his short stories. Such type of critical study has been
carried out in this article.
