and explanatory study Shams- Ur -rahman farooqi's book
"Urdu afsany ke Himayat mai"is an important book on
criticism of Urdu fiction. In this book he gives different
theories and suggestions about fiction its thought and art. He
expresses his views about progressive movement, narrative
style, time and space, .characterization dialogue, technical
aspects of plot, Sequence in story, brain storming of reader's
symbolic and abstract dimensions of fiction. In this research
paper, the critical and explanatory study of Shams-Ur-rahman
farooqi's criticism on fiction has been carried out by the
author.
