Dr. Anwar Sadeed is one of the notable writers who
contributed a great deal towards the advancement of Urdu
literature. His literary contribution can never be
underestimated. He is adept at all genres of literature and his
input in the field of poetry, short story, essay, translation and
journalism are stupendous. In this research paper focuses on
his short stories in relation to content and form. Especially, the
oriental aspect of his fiction is brought to the fore with an
emphasis on the rural backdrop of his writings.
