This article deals with the discussion of being as
discussed in the novels of Ashfaq Ahmad and Bano
Qudsia. Sufiism gives an insight into the ontological
quest of the human soul. Ashfaq Ahmad and Bano
Qudsia have so much to refer to this quest in their
work which in a way reveals the journey of
discovering the self. Here we have discussed the
novels of the two writers in order to experience their
perspectives on self-realization.
