Josh Malihabadi is known and popular due to his distinctive poetic
style in Urdu literature, but "Yaadon Ki Baraat" is the only piece of
writting, which can witness to him as a new trend setter in urdu
autobiography. The genre of autobiography achieved a literary
status in non-fiction prose with "Josh's style of writing". In this
artical researcher tried to threw a light on writing style of Josh
Malihabadi and also discussed all those important characteristics
which gave him separate status among writers of his age and these
peculiarities of his writing style have made Josh a trendsetter in
urdu autobiography
