In this article the tradition of Research in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been
presented. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as compared to the other provinces has
not only remained backward from educational point of view but law &
order situation in this province has also remained instable.
Research is a kind of activity which needs full interest & concentration,
which seems to be impossible in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, keeping in view
the conditions through which it has passed through, but even then
research has taken place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Preliminary research
was carried out by Mir Waliullah, which is visible in his books
Lisaan-ul-Ghaib" & Kasal-Karam" Later on other researchers carried out
the research on different educational topics & promoted the culture of
research in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In this article attempt has been made to trace out the history of research
in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
