During 70s, several new technical experiments were ventured in the short stories.Different stylistic approaches were introduced in the short stories like symbolism,abstract, narrative, allegorical, etc. This cult was the result of the internal literary movements as well as the suppression on the freedom of expression by national authorities. During the era of dictatorhip, in the un-symbolic stoires, internal and external feelings of material and mental suppression were presented in a symbolic way. Moreover, longing of national, social and individual freedom was brought afore. The article discusses the stories of Ahmed Javed’s book “Ghair Alamti Kahani” in this
context.
