When we look at the history of international states, we find only the state
of Bhopal which was governed by four ladies of the same family for a
long period of 107 years out of its total dynasty of 223 years. Starting
with Fateh Bibi the wife of its founder Sardar Dost Muhammad Khan and
produced by Maji Mamola, and AasmtBegum, all were having exemplary
qualities of wisdom,sagacity, diplomacy,bravery and God fearing
attitude.As far as theoretical and literary contribution is
concerned,Nawab Sikander Jahan Begum comes on top of the list because
in her era, Bhopal was so developed in culture and literature that it was
being equated with Dehli and Lakhnow.Nawab Sikander Jahan Begum
did make a lot of effort to empower women folk so that they can move
forward in every field of life without any gender discrimination.
