Allama Dr: Muhammad Iqbal has referred to Afghan people as Millat e Afghan
in his poetry.he has taken keen interest in ethnic history of Afghans.Iqbal
believed that Afghans are originaly descended fron Israeelities ( Bani Israil) he
had a great respect for religious, political and literary figures belonged to
Afghan comunity.Iqbal appreciated those personalities and wrote several poems
about the. he paid a visit to Afghanistan in November 1933 on specal invitation
of king Nadir shah.Iqbal,s thoughts regarding history of Pashtoons,their
historically known personalities and geographical significance of Afghanistan
and pukhtunkhwa have been analyzed and discribe in this article
