Urdu short story in perspective of earthquake (8th October 2005)

"Human history is replete with many incidents which have
brought about a lot of destruction throughout the world. These
incidents had been of various natures e.g. earthly or heavenly,
and political or social. Not only human lives but literature of every
age, too, is affected by these incidents. This article also deals
with a similar calamity i.e. Earthquack, which destroyed Northern
areas of Pakistan on 8th October, 2005. It has left deep marks on
Pakistani people and Urdu Literature simultaneously. The short
stories written as a result of this incident not only depict the
destruction of these areas but also highlight negative and positive
role played by various social and welfare organizations."
