"Farid ad Din Attars work “Tazkirat al-awliya” is considered as one of the most famous works in 12th century. This work contains a great number of literary methods, however, the main feature, which defines this literary work is variety of used artistic-expressive means.
Literary creativity consists of two parts: words and meaning. The art of word embraces beautiful ways of expressing an idea. The art of meaning is based on the beauty of phrases. The present article deals with saj, its history in Persian literature and poems in texts. In this article both literary and grammatical features were sudied on examples, and place of the works by attar in Persian prose was researched.
