CORPORAL PUNISHMENT IN EDUCATION (From the viewpoint of Islamic Jurisprudence)

Training is infact an activity performed by teacher or trainer to
educate and nurture his pupal. In this field, an important
responsibility of teachers and trainers is to flourish a sense of
human dignity and moral values among their students. In order to
reach this goal, all activities and tecniques of trainers must be
conscious, logical and in line with the student's interest and ability.
Unfortunatily, one of these tecniques have been corporal
punishment. In this article, it has been observed whether the
corporal punishment of students is right or wrong from the
viewpoint of Islamic jurisprudence.
