Reportage is one the popular genres of Pashto Literature and had lexical roots
in French literature. The writer of this paper has extensively discussed the
beginning and evolution of the Reportage. Moreover, the author has
compared the technical aspects of Reportage with travelogue, Novel, Drama,
Diary, Autobiography and short story. The writer of this paper has presented
the complete sketch of the Reportage with the special reference to the Pashto
Literature.
