Nasta'leeq Script: Invention And Use
Abstract
Every language is written in one or the other script. The major
languages of the world are alive and thriving due to their unique
script. The scripts of different languages are also changing. There is a
large collection of scientific and literary works written in Nasta'leeq
in Urdu. The role of calligraphers in the promotion of Nastaleeq is
also valuable. Calligraphy also contributed to the practice of this
script. Today, the Nasta'leeq script is further divided into two parts,
known as Noori Nasta'leeq and Lahori Nasta'leeq. This script is
written in several South Asian countries, including Pakistan, India
and Bangladesh. And many languages use this script. There is no
doubt that charm, beauty and elegance are found in the Nasta'leeq
script.
