Representation of Nature and Environment in Pakistani Urdu Ghazal
Abstract
(After 1947 because of political, social, cultural scientific and
educational effects, different ways of expression of poets
came to the front. Poets looked for their civilization in their
surrounding and environment for example lush green fields,
streams, meeting areas, blooming wheat in fragrant soil,
festivals carnivals and in seasons. This is how natural
phenomena became the part of Urdu Gazal. After Pakistan's
independence romantic poets or progressive poets پسند ترقی)
)شاعرinnovative poets of literary circle )ذوق ارباب حلقہ )or
taking their own approach to represent nature, all seen to be
connected to nature and natural environment. The subject of
my article is the representation of nature and environment in
all these poets. Though poets being human are connected to
nature right from the beginning but being poets their
affiliation takes extreme course. This is why in the world's
literature poets seen to present their emotions through poetry.)
