This article explores the origin of Punjabi
language and its prose in the initial stages. It
also analyzes the impact of the interaction of
Punjabi language with the other languages
brought by the invaders time to time from
different parts of the world in the region
(Punjab). This research study traces down
Punjabi prose of the ancient period.
