Value & Respect of Sindhi Women In Ancient Sindhi Civilization
Abstract
The civilization of Sindh is the oldest civilization of the world. It is
situated on river Indus. It is said that Sindh civilization is as old as Indus
River. The ruins of Sindh civilization has proved that it was a developed civilization and women played a major role in its development.
After the advent of Islam in Sindh the status of women has increased.
We see that Shaheed Muhtarma Benazeer Bhutto who belonged to Sindh has
become a symbol of women who strive in society for human rights and especially for women rights. The article deals with the role of women in the development of Sindh civilization.
