Abstract
"Fukah" is an important kind of satire and humour. This word has been originated from 'Arabic' language. In the context of humour, 'Fukah' covers all those literary terms which are discussed with reference to humour. The term. itself, is quite comprehensive. Satire, wit and humour are discussed under this term. 'Fukah' is mainly used in journalism. The greatest of the comedy writers have achieved the excellence of craft in 'Fukha' The present thesis is an attempt to understand different aspects of 'Fukah' and it has been expressed how signal a role does 'Fukha' play in the study of wit and humour.
