Abstract
In Confucius teachings there is a view of Gentleman/
superior man. The concept gentleman is a goal. This goal is
setup by Confucius. The ideal person in Confucian thoughts is
the gentleman, a kind of gentleman faithful to others, sincere
in deeds, and never giving up in his efforts of self-cultivation.
He is one who is filial, ritualistic and educated.
