Abstract
Human being is the best creation of
Almighty Allah. By nature, human being is
social. While living in society, he faces different
kind of situation. For choosing his life partner,
he has its own prefernces. Islam has provided
guidance in this aspect of human life. The
Prophet of Allah, Muhammad (SAW) has
provided guidance for choosing a life partner.
The Holy Prophet said: A man marries a women
for four reasons, for her wealth, for her beauty,
for her family status and for her religeous status,
so you should prefer the last one (religeous
status). In this case a person can have a better
choice, the women can be a sort of success for
the man, its family and for herself too, having in
eyes this world and hereafter. For choosing a
lifepartner, sometimes a person faces a situation
that its family do not agree for choosing a
specific women. In this case an option lyes for
him to have a court marriage.
This paper discusses that what can be the
status of this court/civil marriage which a couple
chooses. What are the instructions of Islam?
