Abstract
It is highly encouraging that, off late, Karoonjhar Research Journal of Sindhi Department, Federal Urdu University Karachi has been recognized by the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad. This generous recognition would not only pave the way at creating an effective environment of research in Sindhi language, but this journal would offer an intellectual service rather a platform for the teachers and research scholars of the various universities. The credit of this all goes to Dr. Kamal Jamro, who has been serving in the Capacity of chairman of Sindhi Department of this University and a great number of students and research fellows are benefitting from his scholarly standing. Ten issues of Karoonjhar are published so far and issue under review is first one after the recognition of HEC. This issue contains in itself a variety of well-researched articles ranging from Sindhi language, Linguistics, Sindhi classical poets and their poetic works, Bhakti Tehreek, Dramma, Surrealism etc. Besides, in Urdu section, three articles are given, which are very important and useful for the teachers and the taught as well. This article is based on analysis of the Karoonjhar.
