Abstract
Celibacy is considered to be the essential and prime part of mysticism. Sufi is supposed to leave the tastes and luxuries of the world and spend the life full of difficulties. He abandons the family and leave the wife by divorcing in order to be lost in practice of spiritual activities. During this practice, if he falls in love with any of women, the feeling happens to be cause of embracement for Sufi and he has to repent for that. On the contrary, Islam emphasizes on getting married and presents it as a solution for the problems in family, social, psychological and spiritual aspect of human life. The man who does not marry, has been scolded by prophet of Islam (PBUH) and he has refused to accept him as his follower. In this study, marital values according to Sufis has been taken into account and analyzed in the light of Quran and Sunnah. The articles is inter-connected with spiritual as well as with social problems which can be eliminated of right solutions described in Islamic sources and origins.
