Abstract
With the passage of time some words(sounds)may be replaced with other words(sounds).It may be said that some words(sonds) may be extinct from any language and new words(sounds) can be coined for their replacement.This type of change is common in all major languages of the world.It is of no consequence that Urdu has been accepting these changes to tackle the challenges of modern linguistic world .In this research article an effort has been made to explain some rules of change in sounds of some words.These words have been travelled a long journey to reach present place and status.A variety of cultures and social norms also affect the language and cause to remix some sounds.These changes are a basic and important cause of expansion in all the major languages of the world.Some changes are taken place under some specific rules and some changes are beyond any rule.
