Abstract
ct: This paper discusses the novel Djazia and Dervishes (Djazia Wa Darawich) written by the Algerian novelist Abdelhamid ben Hadouga, one of the pioneers in Algerian novels written in Arabic. His first mature novel was the wind of the South (Rih al Djanoub) in in 1969. As Djazia and Dervishes, the novel in question, uses many symbols from its beginning, this paper is entitled (the parallel text in Abdul Hamid bin Hdoukh's Djazia and Dervishes) in attempt to trace the parallel texts of the novel text: the title, Intertextuality and Paratext which is one of transtextualities accoridng to the critic Gérard Genette; as I tried decoding the title, reading the cover page by inspecting every word and image on it, and then highlighting the intertextualities.
