Abstract
This study focuses on analyzing English translation of homonymy in conveying thecontext while translating the holy Quran into English. Themeanings is firm based on picking the accurate homonymy in translations the main purpose of this study to the analyze and study comparativelybetween three noteworthy English interpretations of the holy Quran which are “by Abdullah”, “by Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute” and “by Arbari”it further focuses on the different techniques used in coping with the homonymy while translating. The conclusion of this study is that difficult to translate Arabic homonymy into English because of the limited close equivalent reciprocals in English, since there is no distinct mechanism for replacing one homonymy with another during translation each translation requires different linguistic andgrammatical suggestion decided by the linguistic context.
