Abstract
Islam does not allow to force others to accept Islam. Rather, Islam considers minorities as the sacred trust of Allah (SWT) the Almighty. The concept of minority in the West and Europe is linked to color, race, geographical affiliation, and religion. On the contrary, only the religion is the base of being ones minority in Islamic jurisprudence. That is why Islam has become so sensitive about the rights of minorities. The main purpose of this article is to present an Islamic perspective on the preservation of ancient minority places of worship and the establishment of new places of worship for minorities in an Islamic country like Pakistan. The paper found that Islam allows minorities to continue worships in their worship places in an Islamic state. They are also allowed to reconstruct old and build new worship places only in their populated area in this modern democratic age in Pakistan.
