This research paper analyze aims at to American policies during East Pakistan crisis and war between Pakistan and India in 1971. America played derogatory and negative role during East Pakistan crisis. It was being considered that American interests in Asia were then declining. America had closed her military bases from South East Asia. America focused her attention toward oil resources, energy and open seas as compared to her stance against Communism. America increased her interests in those areas where she could be save from security threats. America shifted her focus on Indian sea and Arabian sea. There was only South Korea where American military base remained operational in order to control China and Japan. It is analyzed that America took East Pakistan crisis slyly
