Abstract
This paper attempts to understand and evaluate the services of Begam Liaquat Ali Khan for the humanity particularly for the Muslim women of Pakistan. Begum Ra’ana Liaquat Ali Khan played an important role in the creation and consolidation of Pakistan, She Begum Ra’ana Liaquat Ali Khan, a great leader was desisted to be a well-known Pakistani women’s rights activist, educationalist, economist and diplomat. She was an extraordinarily intelligent lady, a good administrator, and a woman of vision and substance. During the Pakistan Movement, she successfully mobilized the Muslim women to emerge from their houses to work for a Muslim nation. As a women rights activist, in her entire life, she worked for the betterment of health, education and training of the women. After Partition, she spearheaded the women’s movement in Pakistan by organizing several intuitions and organizations. In fact, she opened the doors of development for women to come forward and contribute in the progress of the country with their talent and capability.
