Abstract
Civilization encapsulates the beliefs, apprehensions, life styles, culture and traditions, social values, economy and psychology of a group of people or a nation. Hindu civilization is ancient, vast, complicated but interesting. Basically, it’s a geographical civilization which prefers observation to imagination. About the universe and its creator, idolism believes in multiplicity rather than oneness. Hindu civilization is not very odd for Muslim modality, as both had spent a long time together. Before the birth of Pakistan, the representations of Hindu civilization in Urdu Ghazal were very much natural as well as contextual. But after formation of Pakistan, the adaption of Hindu civilization by the non-Indian poets is a proof to this assumption that Muslims mentality and nature is an outcome of being together for centuries. The best example is the emergence of Hindu __ Mulsim civilization. This study highlights the above mentioned trend with reference to Urdu ghazal.
