Water samples from tubewells of two divisions of Quetta (Balochistan) were evaluated for irrigation quality characteristics. The data depicted that with the exception of few almost all the water samples were fit/marginally fit for irrigation and could be used safely for crop production. However, Ca "/Mg* * ratios for majority of samples exceeded 1.5 which need some special concern. The Electrical Conductivity (EC) and Sodium Absorption Ratio (SARI correlated significantly with coefficient values of 0.92 and 0.91 for division I and H respectively.
